Qinngeq [ qiŋːɜ (q) ] (according to the old spelling K'íngeĸ ; Kitaamiusut Qinngoq ) is a waste fallen Greenland settlement in the district Ammassalik in the Sermersooq .

location

Qinngeq located on a small promontory that from the west in the fjord system of Ammassaliip Kangertiva belonging Qoorneq extends, shortly before settling in Qinngertivaq and Tasiilaq divides. Kuummiit, the next inhabited place, is 12 km south-southeast .

history

Qinngeq was settled in 1952. There were never more than ten residents in the small residential area, which was given up again in 1958.
