Iittuarmiit [ iːtːuɑˌmːiːt ] (according to the old spelling Ĩtuarmît ; Kitaamiusut Inussuarmiut ) is a waste fallen Greenland settlement in the district Ammassalik in the Sermersooq .

Iittuarmiit is located in a small bay in the west of the island of Skjoldungen . A sound of the same name runs in front of the place (Sønder Skjoldungesund).
history
Iittuarmiit is one of the four settlements grouped together as Skjoldungen. As such, it was settled between 1938 and 1940. Between 1943 and 1952 the population fluctuated between 12 and 33 residents. Then the place to live was given up.
