location

Imaarsivik is located on an island of the same name between the Akerninnaap Oqqummut Kangertiva fjord and the Imartivik Paava strait . The exact position on the island is unknown.

history

It is unknown whether Imaarsivik continued to be inhabited. By 1964 at the latest, however, the whole area was deserted again.
