Purello is a district ( fraction , Italian frazione ) of Fossato di Vico in the province of Perugia , Umbria region in Italy .

The place is 2 km north of the main town Fossato di Vico and 38 km northeast of the provincial and regional capital Perugia . The place is at 510 m slm and had about 550 inhabitants in 2001. In the north the place borders on the municipality of Sigillo .
