Pusztavacs is a municipality in Pest County in Hungary . The geographic center of Hungary is located about 54 km southeast of Budapest . To mark this, an 11-meter-high octagonal pyramid was built in 1978 according to plans by the architect József Kerényi, which was renovated in 2002. The population of Pusztavacs is a good 1,400 (as of 2011).
