Pylaisia is a moss species from the order of Hypnales .

features

The main stem is creeping and irregularly to regularly pinnately branched. The side branches are more upright. Leaves on stems and branches are similar to one another: they have a long, drawn out tip, are flat-edged and have entire margins. The rib is short and double or absent. The lamina cells are prosenchymatic. The leaf wing cells are square.

The seta is smooth and red. The capsule stands upright.
