The Pyramid Mountain is a 2120 m high, pyramid-shaped mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It looms between the Turnabout Valley and Beacon Heights in the Quartermain Mountains .
The mountain is recorded for the first time in maps that were created in the course of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . However, it is almost certain that the mountain was already sighted during Scott's Discovery Expedition (1901-1904). There is a risk of confusion with Pyramid Mountain in the Churchill Mountains further south .
