Qajyrgeldi Maqsutuly Qabyldin ( Kazakh Қайыргелді Мақсұтұлы Қабылдин , Russian Каиргельды Максутович Кабылдин Kairgeldy Kabyldin Maxutowitsch * 1. January 1953 ) is a Kazakh Manager.

Life

Qajyrgeldi Qabyldin was born in 1953. He completed his studies at the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute and graduated in 1975 with a major in systems engineering . After graduating from college, he worked in the oil industry in the Soviet Union. Between 1977 and 1982 he worked for the Ministry of Petroleum Industry in Pavlodar Oblast . He then worked for two years as the head of the State Tax Service in Pavlodar before returning to the oil industry.

From 1993 Qabyldin worked for the authorities of the independent Kazakhstan. He was first department head in the Ministry of Energy and Fuels and then head of the department for pipelines and the development of production infrastructure in the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry. From 1997 he was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the newly founded company KazTransOil, responsible for its strategic development. He held this position until March 2002. From April 2003 he worked for the state oil and natural gas company KazMunayGas . There he held various positions and became the new chairman of the board after Serik Bürkitbajew was dismissed on August 20, 2008. In this position, he managed the state-owned company until 2011. From October 2011 to December 2015, he was General Director of KazTransOil.
