Alik Aidarbayev

Alik Serikuly Aidarbajew ( Kazakh Алик Серікұлы Айдарбаев , Russian Алик Серикович Айдарбаев Alik Serikowitsch Ajdarbajew * 19th May 1963 in Alexandrowka, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh managers and politicians .

Life

Alik Aidarbayev was born in 1963 in the village of Alexandrowka in what is now the Almaty region. He graduated from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute in Almaty in 1985 . He holds the degree of Candidate in Science .

He began his professional career in the oil industry in the Soviet Union , where he held various positions in various companies in the Kazakh Soviet Republic. From 1994 to 1995 he was deputy general director of Juschkasneftegas and then until 2009 general director of Turgai Petroleum. At the same time he began to get involved politically. From 1999 to 2007 he was a member of the regional parliament of the Qysylorda region and later a member of the Azar party. He then headed the Mangghystaumunaigas company until 2011, after which he held a managerial position at the state oil company KazMunayGasemployed. From December 2011 to January 2013 Aidarbayev was General Director of KazMunayGas Exploration Production . On January 22, 2013 he was appointed Äkim (governor) of the Mangghystau region . He held this post until March 14, 2017. He then became the first deputy minister for investment and development in the cabinet of Baqytschan Saghyntayev . After just a few months, in January of the following year, he became Deputy Chairman of the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna. From April 2018 he was chairman of the supervisory board of Samruk-Energo and since November 20, 2018 he has been chairman of the board of KazMunayGas.
