Qaschymurat Ybyrajuly Naghymanow ( Kazakh Қажымұрат Ыбырайұлы Нағыманов , Russian Кажмурат Ибраевич Нагманов Kasch Murat Ibrajewitsch Nagmanow * 1. June 1948 in Karpovka, Omsk Oblast , RSFSR ) is a Kazakh politician .

Life

Qaschymurat Naghymanow was born in 1948 in the village of Karpovka, Omsk Oblast . In 1971 he graduated from the Institute of Railway Transport in Leningrad . After graduating from college, he worked for the Kazakh Railroad. From 1973 he worked in the Komsomol , the youth organization of the CPSU . He was a trainer at the regional committee in Pavlodar and the second secretary of the city committee in Ekibastus . Between 1976 and 1978 he was again employed by the Kazakh Railroad before he was then again second secretary of the Ekibastus City Party Committee. From 1982 to 1987 he was the chairman of the Yermak City Executive Committee, and from 1988 to 1991 he worked for the Transport and Communication Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Semipalatinsk City Executive Committee .

In 1990 he was elected to the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan where he was a member of the Committee on Construction and Architecture. From 1992 to 1994 Naghymanow was Vice President of the state company KATEP. Also in 1994 he was again a member of the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan and chairman of the Committee on Industry, Transport and Communication.

After the parliament was dissolved, he was appointed Äkim (governor) of the Sheqazghan region in August 1994 . He held this post until April 1996. After that he was appointed Äkim of the East Kazakhstan Region . After about a year he was dismissed from this post and instead became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Michelle Trading Ltd. and then President of Kazenergoservis. Between April and October 1999 he worked in the administration of the President. He then held the position of Äkim of the Northern Kazakhstan region. In May 2002 he was appointed Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kazakh government by Prime Minister Imanghali Tasmaghambetov . From August 2005 he became an advisor to the Kazakh President and from January 2006 he was the first deputy president of the State Railway Company of Kazakhstan Temir Scholy .
