The Qin Great Wall of Guyang is a section of a Great Wall of China from the Qin Dynasty in Guyang County ( 固 阳县 ) in Inner Mongolia . It served as a defense against the peoples from the north.

The Guyang section was 120 km long, the stone wall 2 meters high and 2.5 m wide, and the highest points 3.8 m. It was equipped with a system of alarm towers (fengsui).

The site of the Great Wall from the time of the Qin Dynasty of Guyang ( 固 阳 秦 长城 遗址 , Guyang Qin changcheng yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4–34) since 1996 .
