The Jinshanling section is 10.5 kilometers long and has five crossings, 67 towers and two lighthouses. The beginning of the wall section has been restored to its original state, but the preservation of the wall is getting worse and worse towards Simatai and is approaching the original state before the restoration.

Entry to this section of the wall is 65 RMB . A cable car was built to take visitors to the highest point of the wall in this section. The continuation of the tour in the area of the Simatai section costs another 50 RMB, and a passage of the suspension bridge there costs another five RMB.
