action

Virologist Kron ( Ulrich Matschoss ) discovers a new, mutated, deadly contagious virus in an accident patient ( Ben Becker ) . In order to avoid an epidemic and after he obtained the support of the responsible State Secretary Schummberger ( Manfred Andrae ), he wants to isolate the patient completely. Judge Betz ( Günther Maria Halmer ) is supposed to give him permission to do so, but initially he demands clear evidence. Kron and Schummberger are appealing to the regional court, which orders the forced isolation of the patient to be zero . The suspicion of contagion is actually confirmed and Betz is now convinced that he should also order further secretions to a quarantine warehouse that has been created. When he has to decide the fate of his girlfriend, the young lawyer Gisa ( Renan Demirkan ), he leaves the cold world of the “healthy” and switches to the “sick” human world, where love and encounters are still possible.

Lexicon of International Films : Science fiction film which - without naming AIDS - develops hysterical excesses in society's handling of the disease into a gloomy scenario. Well meant, but too woodcut and naive .
