Queen's Cup (Polo)
The Queen's Cup is an annual polo tournament in England. It was held for the first time in 1960; The organizer is the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park, west of London . Teams with a handicap of up to 22 are admitted, there is no limit to the number of participants. The Queen's Cup is part of the WPT Championship Cup and the winners receive 120 points for their annual ranking. The playing time is six chukka (section of 7.5 minutes). Together with the British Polo Open (also known as the Gold Cup ) and the Prince of Wales Trophy , the tournament is one of the most important of the English polo season. Traditionally, Queen Elizabeth II carries out the award ceremony.
