The sources of the Quelun are in the Sucos Taitudac and Maha-Quidan (both in the administrative office of Alas ). In their border area they flow together north of the place Fericsare . Here the river is still called Quelan . After the river has passed Fericsare, it forms the border between Taitudac and Suco Betano ( Same administrative office ). Shortly before it flows into the Timor Sea , it now bears the name Quelun .
