In the subfamily Quiinoideae there are four genera with about 50 to 55 species:

  • Froesia Pires : This basal genus has hermaphrodite flowers. It includes about five types.
  • Lacunaria Ducke : They are dioeciously separated sexes ( diocesan ). It includes about twelve species.
  • Quiina Aubl. : You are Androdiozian . It includes about 25 species.
  • Touroulia Aubl. : You are Androdiozian. It includes about four types.
