The Quilty Bay is a side bay of Prydz Bay on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It lies between the west of the Stinear Peninsula in the Larsemann Hills area .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988. It is named after the Australian geologist Patrick G. Quilty (1939-2018), who worked with scientists from the University of Wisconsin from 1965 to 1966 in Ellsworthland and from 1980 to 1999 as the chief scientist of the Australian Antarctic Division acted.
