The Quirin Privatbank AG , formerly Berliner effect bank , Consors Capital Bank and CCB Bank is a German private bank based in Berlin and more than ten other locations in Germany. It is Germany's first bank to specialize in fee consulting (fee advisory bank).

history

The roots of Quirin Privatbank, which has officially been operating under this name since June 2017, go back to 1998. Founded as Berliner Effektenbank , the company belonged to the parent company Berliner Effektengesellschaft to 15% and to 85% to Consors from 2000 . It was also renamed Consors Capital Bank. Consors and thus also Consors Capital Bank were taken over by BNP Paribas a little later.

In 2003 the Berliner Effektengesellschaft bought back the bank with the participation of the board members Klaus-Gerd Kleversaat and Johannes Eismann. In mid-2005, Setis Bank, which provides outsourcing services as a transaction bank, was integrated into Consors Capital Bank and the company was renamed CCB Bank . On May 23, 2006, the company changed its name again and operated as Quirin Bank AG until June 2017 . It has been listed on October 12, 2006.

In December 2012, Quirin Privatbank's Business Process Outsourcing division , which, as a transaction bank, offered outsourcing solutions for processing securities transactions to other banks and financial service providers, was brought into a joint venture with the Swiss Avaloq Group; Quirin Privatbank holds 49% of the joint venture Avaloq Sourcing (Germany).
