Brian Qvale (born November 3, 1988 in Williston , North Dakota ) is an American basketball player who played for medi bayreuth in the German Bundesliga from 2013 to 2014 .

Career

Qvale's first professional station was at Aliağa Petkim GSK in Turkey. There he played with Branislav Ratkovica and Trent Plaisted , who were or still are active in the basketball league in 2013 , together in one team.

This was followed by a move to Belfius Mons-Hainaut in Belgium . There he stood on the field for an average of 24 minutes per game, scored 10 points and got around 6 rebounds per game.

For the 2013/14 season he moved to medi Bayreuth in the basketball league . With Bayreuth, Qvale was able to celebrate relegation at the end of the season, but he did not receive a new contract for the 2014/2015 season. For Bayreuth he averaged 13 points and 6 rebounds per game.

Due to his good performance for Bayreuth, Qvale was able to recommend himself for a trial contract in the NBA . At the end of September 2014, the Charlotte Hornets gave Qvale a trial contract for the season preparation. In the end, however, it was not enough for the jump to the final NBA roster and Qvale then spent the 2014/2015 season at Tofas Bursa in Turkey.

For the 2015/2016 season, Brian Qvale joined the German first division club EWE Baskets Oldenburg . In the summer of 2017, Qvale left the club and used a release clause in his contract to join Lokomotive Kuban Krasnodar .
