Río Bueno is a municipality and city in southern Chile and is located between Osorno and Valdivia, right next to the Panamericana . Río Bueno is under the administration of the municipality of Lago Ranco . The city is located in the province of Ranco in the Los Ríos region . The name of the city comes from the river of the same name, Río Bueno . This cold mountain stream is popular among rafting enthusiasts and anglers. Sights of this city are the large bridge over the Río Bueno and the remains of a Spanish fort from the 18th century.
