Río Colonia is a river in Chile .

It is an outflow of the Colonia Glacier in the Chilean part of Patagonia , and has its source in Lake Colonia , where the glacier currently ends. The Río Colonia is a right tributary of the Río Baker and meets this river in the middle reaches.

The Chilean government has suggested plans to build a hydropower station to harness the energy from the Río Baker.
