The Río Negro (literally "Black River"; alternative name: Río Olleros ) is a small river in western Peru ( Ancash region ) on the western slope of the Cordillera Blanca .

It arises from the confluence of the Quebrada Rurec and Quebrada Uquián, flows in a westerly direction and flows into the Río Santa near the village of Olleros ( 3450  m above sea level) . The river length is 9.5 km, the catchment area about 200 km².
