Olleros is a village in the Peruvian region of Ancash . The 2017 census counted 214 inhabitants. The village is located on the Río Negro about 2 km east of the Río Santa on the western slope of the Cordillera Blanca at an altitude of 3450 m .
Transport links
- A road leads, following the Río Negro downstream, after 2 km to a paved road. In a northerly direction this road reaches Huaraz after 22 km and in a south direction after 5 km the place Recuay .
- A footpath leads over the Yanashallash pass ( 4700 m ) to Chavín ( 3140 m ).
