life and work

From 1923 to 1927 she studied at the artists' colony in Baia Mare under István Réti and János Thorma , where her works were shown for the first time in a group exhibition. A long stay in Paris followed in the 30s and then settled again in Baia Mare. When the Asociația Artelor Frumoase was founded in Oradea in 1932 , she also took part in the founding meeting. In the following years Róza Mólnar moved back to Hungary, where she spent the rest of her life.

She mainly created landscapes, still lifes and interior representations. Initially still naturally inspired, the "later" works became more colorful. Book illustrations were also created.
