Rödgen is located between Zörbig in the west and Bitterfeld-Wolfen in the east, directly on the federal motorway 9 .

history

Rödgen was first mentioned in a document in 1209. Like its neighboring town of Zschepkau, the place belonged to the Electoral Saxon Office of Zörbig until 1815 .
