RJQ Adams
RJQ Adams , full Ralph James Quincy Adams (born September 22, 1943 in Hammond , Indiana ) is an American historian , historian , and author.
Career
Adams received his Ph.D. in 1972. in history from the University of California at Santa Barbara . The main focus of his work is the history of Great Britain . Since 1974 he has been Professor of European and British History at Texas A&M University (TAMU) in College Station , Texas . He then became Distinguished Professor and Patricia & Bookman Peters Professor of History .
He is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society .
