RCW catalog
The RCW catalog ( R odgers, C ampbell, W hiteoak) is an astronomical catalog of 181 areas in the southwestern Milky Way showing H-alpha emissions, described in "A catalog of Hα-emission regions in the southern Milky Way" .
The catalog was compiled in the 1960s by Alexander William Rodgers, Colin T. Campbell and John Bartlett Whiteoak at the Mount Stromlo Observatory in Australia .
