Michel Kreder (born August 15, 1987 in The Hague ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

Career

In 2004, Michel Kreder won the Grand Prix Pommeroeul as a junior driver and a stage on the Route de l'Avenir, where he also came second overall. In the next season he was successful there again on a section. He also won a stage at the Giro delle Toscana and at the Trophée Center Morbihan. At the Junior Track World Championships in Vienna , Kreder won the silver medal in the points run .

In 2006 Kreder received his first contract with the Belgian UCI Continental Team Unibet-Davo . In his second season there he won a stage in the International Tour of Thuringia . In the following years he achieved further stage wins, including the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe , the Tour Méditerranéen and the 4 Jours de Dunkerque . Between 2010 and 2017 he started four times at the Vuelta a España . In 2019 he ended his cycling career.

Michael Kreder comes from a cycling family: his brother Raymond is also a racing cyclist like his cousin Wesley .
