The RVG regional transport Gera / Land GmbH is the operator of regional transport in the northern district of Greiz and urban transport in the north of the city of Gera .
The company was founded in 1992 and at that time took over part of the buses from VEB Kraftverkehr Gera . Today the RVG is coordinated and administered together with the “ Personen- und Reiseverkehrsgesellschaft Greiz ” by the “ GRZ - Service- und Verwaltungs-GmbH Greiz ”. The managing director of the three GmbHs is Stefan Meißner, the post of authorized signatory is Angela Rose. Martina Schweinsburg ( CDU ) is the chairman of the supervisory board .
On December 1, 2019, a new traffic concept was implemented in the RVG area. This realizes regular cycles on most lines and aligns the offers with rail traffic.
