Dean Računica (born December 5, 1969 in Šibenik , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian football player.
Career
The 176 cm tall midfielder began his career at his home club HNK Šibenik . His first big club was Hajduk Split , where he became Croatian champion in 1994 and then moved to Casino Salzburg in Austria . With the Salzburg team he became Austrian champion and Supercup winner and also took part in the qualifying games for the UEFA Champions League . In 1997 he returned to Hajduk Split, and in 1999 he ventured again abroad to Hapoel Tel Aviv . He then moved from Israel to Chongqing Lifan in China for a year . Računica, who was also featured twice in the national team , ended his career in 2004 because of a discovered heart defect.
