Racot (German: Racoten ; 1939–1943 Radungen ; 1943–1945 Razot ) is a village in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , in the rural municipality of Kościan and is 41 kilometers south of Poznan . The place has 1321 inhabitants. Racot was first mentioned in writing in 1366.

The palace in Racot was the residence of the President of Poland in the interwar period . In July 1927 Ignacy Mościcki and his wife spent their vacation here.
