Radůza
Radůza (born March 16, 1973 in Prague ; bourgeois Radka Urbanová , née Vranková ) is a Czech singer and accordionist . She sings chansons that are heavily influenced by folklore .
Radůza began her career as a street musician in Prague and was discovered in 1993 by the singer Zuzana Navarová . In the same year she appeared at the Palais Lucerna as support for Suzanne Vega .
In 2001 she graduated from the Prague Conservatory in composition . She composed incidental music for several theaters in the Czech Republic. In 2003 she received the Anděl Music Prize in the categories Discovery of the Year , Best Singer and Folk & Country . Radůza appeared with her songs in Jan Hřebejk's film Kráska v nesnázích in 2005 .
In 2010 Radůza founded her own music label. Her short story collection Čáp nejni kondor was published in 2016 .
