The Rada Barraza (in Argentina Rada Pingüinera , from Spanish rada ' roadstead ' ) is a natural harbor on the southwest side of Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is near the New Rock .
Chilean scientists named him after Federico Barraza Pizarro, head of the 18th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1963–1964).
