Radio Klinikfunk Wiesbaden eV is a German, non-commercial radio station based in Wiesbaden . It broadcasts two radio programs and is also a training radio. Radio Klinikfunk Wiesbaden eV can be received in the HELIOS Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken and on the Internet.
history
The association was founded under the motto "Music helps heal" by Gero von Gersdorff in 1981. Five years later, the city of Wiesbaden approved a first broadcasting studio in the basement of HELIOS Dr. Horst Schmidt clinics too.
1986 was the start of broadcasting for the program “Radio Klinikfunk”. In 1993 the association built new premises with a self-propelled studio and an editorial room on the roof of the clinic.
The moderators and program planners work on a voluntary basis. The association is financed through membership fees and donations.
Programs
Radio Klinikfunk is a moderated program in the musical color "Oldie based soft AC". The claim "This is how Wiesbaden sounds" is primarily intended to represent regional information for and from the Hessian state capital. Messages about death and disasters are taboo in the program. The focus is on a positive mood and a good mood.
Since October 1, 2014, the association has been broadcasting an unmoderated music program with the "Melodie-Schlager with a focus on German Schlager from 2000" under the name "Schlagertreff".
Training radio
Ingo Zamperoni , today moderator of the Tagesthemen , and Michael Münkner , today SWR4 Rhineland-Palatinate , gained their first radio experience at Radio Klinikfunk. SWR1 presenter Claudia Deeg, MDR Jump presenter Fabian Hamm and N-Joy presenter Isabel Engelke also contributed to Radio Klinikfunk, among others . Radio Klinikfunk Wiesbaden eV offers those interested in internships the opportunity to try out this area.

The programs can be received with any internet-enabled device. The patients at the HELIOS Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken Wiesbaden can receive the programs directly via the TV channel, Radio Klinikfunk sends a live image from the studio for every live broadcast .
