Radivoje Glavic

Radivoje Glavić (* 1921 in Prizren ; † February 2011 in Belgrade ) was a Yugoslav politician and lawyer who was most recently a judge at the Constitutional Court of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) and the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo .

Life

After attending the business school in Peć , he took part in the partisan war against the German occupation forces and was honored for his assignments there in 1941.

After the Second World War , he first graduated from the Police Academy before studying law at the University of Belgrade . He then worked as a judge and also began a political career during which he became mayor of Prizren and a member of the Executive Council of the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo.

He later also became a judge at the Constitutional Court of the SFRY, before he was appointed judge at the Constitutional Court of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo after the start of unrest in Kosovo in March and April 1981 and held this position until 1985.
