Rafael "Rafinha" Leandro Thomaz (born February 18, 1993 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Rafinha came from EC União Suzano to the Austrian fifth division club FC Tulln during the winter break of the 2010/11 season . He played his first game for Tulln in the 2nd regional league in March 2011 against ASK-BSC Bruck / Leitha . For the 2011/12 season he moved to league rivals SC Lassee .

In the summer of 2012 he moved to the third class amateurs of the SCR Altach . Before his debut for this, he was in the professional squad for the first time against SV Grödig on July 27, 2012 , but has not yet been used. A day later he finally made his debut for Altach II in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up against SV Wals-Grünau on the first day of the 2012/13 season .

In November 2012 he played his first game for the Altach professionals in the second division when he started against Kapfenberger SV on matchday 18 of the 2012/13 season and was replaced by Fabian Flatz in the 81st minute . He scored his first goal in the second highest Austrian league in May 2013 in a 3-1 win against First Vienna FC . In the same month he received a professional contract with the Altachers. With Altach, he rose to the Bundesliga in 2014 . In the promotion season 2013/14 Rafinha to ten missions in which he remained without a hit.

He left Altach during the winter break of the 2014/15 season and returned to Brazil, where he joined União Agrícola Barbarense FC . For the 2015/16 season he moved to Austria again and joined the fourth-class SC Ostbahn XI . For Ostbahn he completed 14 games in the Vienna City League and scored two goals. After six months in Vienna , he moved back to Brazil for Paulista FC in February 2016 .

In April 2017 Rafinha moved to Slovakia to FK Slovan Levice .
