Raffaele Di Fusco (born October 6, 1961 in Riardo ( CE ), Italy ) is a former Italian football player and coach .

biography

Player career

After he had spent his entire youth at SSC Napoli , he was loaned to Vicenza Calcio and belonged to the professional squad there. In his first season there, the team relegated to Serie C and there he played for two years before returning to Naples. There he stayed until the end of his active career in 1998, apart from two seasons, where he changed clubs, but returned after only one season. In Naples he witnessed the glorious 1980s when the club won the double in the 1986/87 season and the 1989 UEFA Cup . In this season he was in the Serie A strangely enough, coach Ottavio Bianchi in the game against Ascoli Calcio as striker for the injured Careca , on as a substitute. In 1990 he won the second championship in the series with the club. 1998 ended after the club's relegation to Serie B, his career.

Coaching career

After his career he became a coach. He began in the youth of the SSC Napoli, from which he himself comes. Then he became the goalkeeping coach of the professional team. In 2001 he took his first coaching position and changed clubs after one season. With SS Cavese he even managed to get promoted to Serie C2, but he left the club after one season and has since worked again as a goalkeeping coach. He currently holds this position at FC Turin in Serie B.
