Rafhael "Rafhinha" Domingues (born March 2, 1992 in Marechal Cândido Rondon ) is an Austrian - Brazilian football player .

Career

society

Rafhinha started his career at Toledo Colônia Work . In 2012 he played briefly on loan at Foz do Iguaçu FC . In March 2013 he moved to the USA for the New York Red Bulls . In June 2013, after he was not used, his contract with the Americans was terminated.

Rafhinha returned to Brazil in January 2014, where he joined Grêmio Barueri . Then he played at the EC Internacional de Lages . After leaving Internacional in January 2016, he joined the Swiss third division club SC Brühl St. Gallen in February 2016 .

After 29 games in the Promotion League for Brühl, in which he scored eleven goals, Rafhinha moved to second division club FC Winterthur in January 2017 . He made his debut for Winterthur in the Challenge League in February 2017 when he started against FC Chiasso on matchday 19 of the 2016/17 season and was replaced by Luka Sliskovic in the 58th minute . By the end of the 2016/17 season, he made three appearances for Winterthur in the Challenge League.

After half a year at Winterthur, he returned to Brühl for the 2017/18 season. For the club he came to 25 appearances in the Promotion League that season, in which he scored three goals. For the 2018/19 season he moved to league rivals SC Cham . He left Cham after the 2018/19 season. He then returned to the EC Internacional de Lages .

In January 2020 he moved to Austria to the fourth-class FC Egg .

National team

Rafhinha applied to the ÖFB via Facebook to play for Austria. Finally, the midfielder was appointed to the Austrian U-18 national team in March 2010 . He made his debut that month in a 3-1 win against the Czech Republic , when he was in the starting line-up and was replaced by Daniel Schmölzer in the 68th minute. In that game he was able to score the interim 1: 1 and 2: 1. In May 2010 there was another mission against Hungary .
