Ragani Haas

Ragani Estell Viviane Haas (* 1969 in Stuttgart ) is a German artist. Her focus is on room installation , performance and video art . She lives and works in Stuttgart, Munich and New York.

From 1990 to 1995 she studied German and Slavic at the University of Tübingen , then from 1995 to 2001 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart , with Joan Jonas among others . Haas has been an assistant to Joan Jonas since 1999, with stays and projects in Holland , Poland , Canada , Berlin , Stuttgart, Kassel , Boston MIT and New York . Since 2001 she has been a freelance artist for space / installation (sculpture in the broadest sense), video (mostly documentary) and performance / action and temporarily lecturer at the Landesakademie Bad Schloss Rotenfels in Karlsruhe . She is a member of forschungsgruppe_f (founded in 2001 by / with Georg Winter ).
