The history of Raiffeisenbank Greding-Thalmässing eG goes back to 1881. The last merger took place in 2000 between Raiffeisenbank Greding eG and Raiffeisenbank Thalmässing eG.

The Raiffeisenbank Greding-Thalmässing operates the universal banking business as a bank . In the BVR list of all cooperative banks as of December 31, 2019, the bank ranks 570 out of a total of 839 cooperative banks. Today the Raiffeisenbank Greding-Thalmässing has four branches in Greding , Thalmässing , Eysölden and Obermässing . The Alfershausen branch was closed in 2018. The SVG (Greding Power Supply) is a subsidiary of Raiffeisenbank Greding-Thalmässing and supplies around 1,900 consumers with electricity. It is the only bank in the Bavarian Cooperative Association that is also an electricity network operator.
