While the Sulzbach Loan Association was founded on March 5, 1896, the Hartkirchen Loan Association was founded immediately on April 7, 1896. In 1961, a merger with the Raiffeisenkasse Hartkirchen took place. In 1972 the Raiffeisenkassen Würding and Mittich-Neuhaus-Vornbach as well as Sulzbach and Hartkirchen merged to form the current Raiffeisenbank Unteres Inntal eG.

In 1995 the goods business was spun off into a GmbH. In 2000, the Mittich, Sulzbach and Vornbach branches were closed.
