history

The first savings and loan association based on the system of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen was founded in the federal state of Salzburg in 1890 . This association in Taxenbach was the beginning of a wave of foundings that spanned the turn of the century. In 1905, the starting signal for the Salzburg Raiffeisen Association was given with the establishment of the Salzburg Cooperative Central Bank. At that time there were 42 savings and loan funds in Salzburg.

Raiffeisen Salzburg Invest Kapitalanlage GmbH

In 1994, under the name Salzburg-München Wertpapierfonds Kapitalanlage GmbH, a subsidiary of the Salzburg Raiffeisen Association was founded as a separate capital investment company. The merger with Salzburg-Munich Portfolio-Management GmbH - also a subsidiary of the Raiffeisen Association Salzburg - in 2007 resulted in a new company, Raiffeisen Salzburg Invest Kapitalanlage GmbH.

In 2013, Raiffeisen Kapitalanlage-Gesellschaft mbH acquired a 75% stake in Raiffeisen Salzburg Invest Kapitalanlage GmbH, with 25% remaining with Raiffeisenverband Salzburg. Raiffeisen Salzburg Vorsorge GmbH

Raiffeisen Salzburg Versicherungsmakler GmbH was founded in 2001 as a 100% subsidiary of the Raiffeisen Association Salzburg. With the bundling of the entire insurance, building society and brokerage business for private customers and entrepreneurs, the company was renamed Raiffeisen Salzburg Vorsorge GmbH in 2010.

Techno-Z Verbund GmbH

In 2002 the Raiffeisenverband Salzburg acquired all shares in the state-owned company Techno-Z Verbund. 175 companies with over 1,200 employees are located at seven locations in the city and state of Salzburg.

SABAG - Salzburger Bauträger GmbH

The Raiffeisenverband Salzburg became 100% owner of SABAG in 2001 through the takeover of all company shares.

SABAG's range of services includes project development, planning services, project management, site supervision, services in accordance with the Construction Site Coordination Act, general planning services and general contractor services.

Raiffeisen Salzburg Leasing GmbH

In 2007 the leasing companies West Consult Leasing and Raiffeisen Leasing were merged to form Raiffeisen Salzburg Leasing in order to bundle leasing know-how and market knowledge.
