The Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG ( RLB Tyrol ), located in the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck is a company founded in 1895, financial institution and the central institution of the Tyrolean Raiffeisen Banking Group.

The shareholders of the bank are (almost) exclusively the cooperatively organized Tyrolean Raiffeisen banks and subsequently, as owners of the cooperative shares, the customers of the respective regional Raiffeisen banks.
Management and structure
The board consists of the chairman Johannes Ortner and the deputy chairmen Reinhard Mayr and Thomas Wass. The individual business areas are distributed among the board members.
The supervisory board consists of twelve owner representatives, six representatives of the works council and two state commissioners .
history
The institute was founded in 1895 as the Raiffeisen central bank . The conversion to the stock corporation that exists today took place in 2002.

Sponsorship and banking brand
RLB Tirol supports various Tyrolean initiatives in the areas of social affairs, art / culture, education / science and sport.
The Raiffeisen banking group as a whole concentrates on the Alpine Ski World Cup in winter and on the Austrian national soccer team in the other seasons . Alpine skiing and soccer are the two sports that are most present in the media and are also practiced by the Austrians themselves or followed live or in the media. With these two sports, Raiffeisen has an excellent media presence all year round with its sports sponsorship activities.
