RailUSA is an American holding company in the rail transport sector based in Boca Raton (Florida).

In 2012, entrepreneur Gary O. Marino (co-founder of RailAmerica and Patriot Rail ) founded International Rail Partners. As with his previous company foundings, the purpose was to take over and operate railway lines and companies.

In August 2018, the company acquired the Grenada Railroad from Iowa Pacific Holdings . In October of the same year, with the help and majority participation of the investment and venture capital company Equity Group Investments of the entrepreneur Sam Zell, RailUSA LLC. founded. From now on, this company serves as a holding company for activities in the rail sector. Gary O. Marino has been named Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer .

In June 2019, RailUSA acquired a 690-kilometer-long railway line between Baldwin, Florida, near Jacksonville , and Pensacola from CSX Transportation, and began operating under the name Florida Gulf and Atlantic Railroad .

In August 2019, Barbara Wilson was named President of the Society.
