Rail Alexandrovich Rosakow ( Russian Раиль Александрович Розаков * 29. March 1981 in Izhevsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian hockey players , among others for the HK Lada Tolyatti , Severstal Cherepovets , Metallurg Novokuznetsk , the HC Sibir Novosibirsk and Vityaz Chekhov in the Superliga or Continental Hockey League was active.
Career
Rail Rosakow began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK Lada Tolyatti , for whose second team he was active from 1998 to 2000 in the third-rate Pervaya League . The 1999/2000 season, however, ended the defender at ZSK WWS Samara and Krylja Sowetow Moscow from the second-rate Vysschaya League . He was then selected in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft in the fourth round as a total of 106th player by the Calgary Flames , for which he never played. Instead, he was in the 2000/01 season for Metallurg Novokuznetsk from the super league and in the following season for his ex-club HK Lada Tolyatti and Severstal Tscherepowez on the ice. With Severstal he reached the playoffs of the finals for the Russian championship, in which he was defeated with his team Lokomotive Yaroslavl .
The 2003/04 season began Rosakov with the Lowell Lock Monsters from the American Hockey League , which he left after only two games to return to Cherepovets, for which he ran up in the Super League in the following year and a half. He then played for their league rivals HK Sibir Novosibirsk for just as long . After one season each at Vitjas Chekhov and his ex-club Metallurg Novokuznetsk, for which the left-handed shooter made a template in 41 games in the 2007/08 season, the former junior international moved to the 2008/09 season for HK Traktor Chelyabinsk . However, the club left after only nine games to play for their league rivals Barys Astana . For the Kazakhs, he was only five more times on the ice until the end of the season and remained pointless throughout the season.
International
For Russia , Rosakow took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 1999 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2001 .
