Rainer Buchholz

Rainer W. Buchholz (born January 14, 1949 in Celle ) is a German politician ( CDU , FDP ) and member of the Bremen parliament .

biography

Family, education and work

After graduating from high school, Buchholz completed an apprenticeship as an officer candidate and a pedagogy course with subsequent legal clerkship. He was a lieutenant and later a lieutenant colonel in the reserve. He then worked as a secondary school teacher until his retirement, most recently at the forest school in Schwanewede .

Buchholz is married and has two children. He lives in Bremen - Vegesack .

politics

Buchholz was a member of the CDU until 2004 and is a member of the FDP. He had been a member of the Advisory Board in Vegesack for around 30 years until he was elected to Bremen's citizenship. He is a member of the state board of the Bremen FDP. Since 2014 he has been deputy state chairman of the FDP Bremen.

For the CDU from 1995 to 2003 he was a member of the deputation for education and for the FDP from 2007 to 2011 in the deputation for culture. In the 2015 general election in Bremen , he received a mandate in the state parliament.

He is no longer a member of the citizenship elected in 2019 .
