Rainer Groothuis

Rainer Groothuis (* 1959 in Emden ) is a German book and media designer, photographer, author, agency and publisher founder who lives and works in Hamburg.

Life

After graduating from high school and an apprenticeship as a bookseller in the Krebs bookstore in Emden, Groothuis went to Berlin in 1982 for an internship at the Klaus Wagenbach publishing house , where he took over the production management in 1984 and management in 1989. In 1996, Groothuis went self-employed with Victor Malsy and in 1999 founded his own agency Groothuis and Consorten in Hamburg. After the expansion into the Groothuis, Lohfert, Consorten. Awards

Groothuis is one of the most award-winning German book designers and has received a number of national and international awards, including the Premio Internazionale Felice Feliciano .
