Rainer J. Hocher

Rainer Johannes Hocher (born August 10, 1948 in Gersdorf ; † May 9, 2012 in Kalletal-Stemmen ) was a German poet and writer .

Life

After changing jobs as a lathe operator, steel construction fitter, welder, mail order worker, commercial clerk for a doctor, worker in cotton fields in Arizona / USA , temporary worker at several part-time companies and temporary worker on a trout farm, he has devoted himself to poetry and prose, some of which are in Icelandic, since 1990 have been translated. In addition to a two-year activity at the Erfurt Literature Center, he also worked for Radio Westfalica and the Bielefelder Literaturtelefon.
