Rainer W. Walter
Rainer W. Walter (born June 5, 1938 in Biberist ) is a Swiss teacher , politician and journalist .
From 1960, Walter wrote regularly for Das Volk , the Solothurn AZ , the Grenchner Tagblatt and the Bieler Tagblatt as well as for calendars . From 1973 to 1998 he was a teacher at the Bachtelen children's home in Grenchen and then until 2003 as "Head of the Office for Culture and Sports of the Canton of Solothurn". He was also a constitutional councilor in Solothurn and a councilor for Grenchen , and publishes non-fiction books on local history and short stories , among other things . In 1993 he was awarded the Grenchen City Culture Prize.
