The district of Peja ( Albanian Rajoni i Pejës , Serbian Пећки округ Pećki okrug ) is one of the seven Kosovar districts and is located in the north-west of Kosovo.
On February 17th, 2008 the parliament of Kosovo declared independence from Serbia. Since then, the status has been controversial internationally.
The 03 is the Kosovar license plate for the Peja district . The seat of the district is Peja .
